Vice President, Patient Services, Genesis Medical Center- Davenport/Chief Nurse Executive, Genesis Health System
Areas of Responsibility: Oversight and management of the Patient Services division, including Inpatient/Outpatient nursing departments & Care Coordination. Is the Chief Nurse Executive responsible for the clinical practice of nursing throughout the health system.
Bio: Jackie has been an employee of Genesis for more than 20 years, starting as a bedside nurse on the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Nursing Unit. Her experience also includes Care Coordinator for the Rehab Department, Strategic Outreach, Nurse Manager of the Orthopedic Unit and Director of Nursing Operations. She has been the project manager for the design and implementation of the Care Coordination Program for Genesis Health System. In addition, she was selected to the 2007 class of 100 Great Iowa Nurses, which recognizes nurses who have made a meaningful and lasting contribution to humanity and their profession and act as mentors to others.
Anhalt holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Ill.; a master's in Health Education and Promotion from Western Illinois University, Macomb, Ill.; and a second masters in Nursing from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa. She also has obtained her Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certification. Anhalt and husband, Dennis, have three children and live in Bettendorf, Iowa.
