Bio: Sharp has been with Genesis for more than 25 years, starting as an Electrical Supervisor with Genesis predecessor, St. Luke's Hospital. During his career progression, he's also held the positions of Assistant Director of Engineering and Maintenance, Manager of Planning and Construction, Manager of Engineering, Maintenance and Construction and Assistant Vice President of Support Services. A journeyman electrician, Sharp holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company. He was honored as Davenport One 2005 Volunteer of the Year for providing consulting services on two successful Downtown Davenport Development projects - the River Music Experience and the NewVentures Center.
Sharp serves on the boards of the Scott Community College Foundation, the Bettendorf Family Y, the River Music Experience, the Bettendorf Development Corporation and MEDIC EMS and is a member of the Kahl Home Facility and Strategic Planning Committee. Sharp and his wife, Molly, live in Davenport. They have one son, Nathan, and a daughter, Sarah.
