Pediatric Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Urinary Symptoms One to Two Years Post Pediatric Pelvic Floor and Gross Motor Training Physical Therapy Treatment

Objective

This study is being done to learn more about the effect of the Genesis Pelvic Floor and Gross Motor Training Physical Therapy Program on urinary symptoms after one (1) or two (2) years. Genesis newly designed the physical therapy program, and would like to know whether the program resulted in improvements in urinary symptoms in the long-term (after 1-2 years).

Daytime urinary incontinence can result in a number of problems for children including attention problems, behavior issues, restrictions in social outings and hygienic problems. Non-invasive physical therapy programs, like the one used at Genesis, have shown to be effective at improving urinary symptoms. However, it is unknown whether these improvements last after 1-2 years.
