Mercer Foundation for Health held its 21st Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction on February 7th at the VFW in Aledo. The event had over 150 people in attendance to enjoy a meal prepared by Genesis Medical Center's Dietary staff and Aledo Meat Market.

The 21st Annual Mercer Foundation for Health Benefit Dinner and Auction has been set for Thursday, February 7th at the VFW Hall in Aledo. Social hour starts at 5:30 PM with appetizers and a cash bar, followed by dinner at 6:30 PM.

Demand at the Churches of Mercer County food pantry has rarely been higher. The pantry serves families throughout the area and each month over 200 families are utilizing the pantry.

An $11,700,000 renovation of Mercer County Hospital is scheduled to begin in February, 2013.
