    Genesis Health System has established a Nursing Honor Guard to recognize men and women who have dedicated their professional lives to nursing. The honor guard will pay tribute to any retired or active Genesis nurse at the time of their death.

  • Life in the Quad Cities

    The Quad Cities are comprised of Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline in Illinois. There are also numerous small communities in the surrounding area. Combined, they provide the benefits of living in a big city, while maintaining a small town atmosphere. The Quad Cities are located just off Interstate 80, and are conveniently served by the Quad City International Airport in Moline.

  • Magnet and Other Awards

    The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the nation’s leading credentialing organization, has awarded Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, the prestigious Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services. Genesis is the first and only hospital in the Quad Cities, and just the fourth in Iowa, to achieve Magnet status.
