After Hours Drug and Alcohol Testing

Genesis Occupational Health provides on-call services for post accident and reasonable suspicion urine drug and breath alcohol testing even when our clinics are closed. For after-hours testing call our pager 309-757-5323. Our staff will respond to requests/calls. Please provide specific details as to what forms will need to be used for testing.

In Iowa:
Our on-call staff in Iowa can meet the injured employee at Genesis Medical Center, West Central Park, 1401 West Central Park Ave in Davenport.

In Illinois:
Our on call staff in Illinois can meet the injured employee at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, 801 Hospital Road, Silvis OR at Genesis Occupational Health 2526 41st Street, Moline.

Convenient Care Facilities

Since illness and injuries don't take holiday's off, our partners don't either. At least one Genesis Convenient Care Clinic in Iowa is open on any given holiday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All walk-ins should check wait times in advance to determine which facility is open and the hours of operation for that day. Genesis Convenient Care in Moline is open on most holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Follow-up Care is conveniently directed to Genesis Occupational Health automatically. All Genesis facilities listed have a standard protocol to send work-related injuries to one of the Genesis Occupational Health Clinics for follow-up care/appointments the following business day unless instructed otherwise by an employer.


Situations that require immediate care, employees should be directed to one of the four Genesis Health System Emergency Departments.

Dial 911 if:

  • Severe Chest, Neck or Left Arm Pain
  • Shortness of Breath/Difficulty Breathing
  • Loss of Consciousness
  • Severe Abdominal Pain
  • Severe Headache
  • Crush Injury involving Chest or Abdomen
  • Injuries with Extreme Force
  • Unrestrained Motor Vehicle Accident
  • Large Laceration
  • Wound with Uncontrolled Bleeding
  • Falls from Heights
  • Bony Deformity
  • Loss of Hearing, Sensation or Vision
