Neurofeedback

Genesis Medical Center is pleased to provide Neurofeedback services on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Neurofeedback is an advanced form of biofeedback for the brain. Neurofeedback, also known as EEG Biofeedback or Neurotherapy is based on electrical brain activity, the electroencephalogram, or EEG. Neurofeedback is training in self-regulation. This powerful brain-based technique has been successfully helping clients around the world for over 30 years. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive procedure with the potential for dramatic results for a multitude of symptoms. Training the brain to function at its maximum potential is similar to the way the body is exercised, toned, and maintained. Brain training exercises the neural pathways that allow the brain to have better function in a variety of areas.
