To better understand your current condition, Genesis Physical Rehabilitation will request the completion of our history and intake form at your initial visit. For your convenience, please feel free to print and complete this document prior to your appointment. If you choose to complete the paperwork in advance, please be sure to bring the completed history and intake form to your initial evaluation.

Pittsburg State University 2005, 

St. Ambrose University 2007, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Specialization/Certification: Joe specializes in general orthopedics, post-surgical rehab, and sports medicine rehabilitation.

Community/Recreational Activities: Joe volunteers his time and services to Central High School in DeWitt, including sideline game coverage to enhance Central Saber athletics.  Joe is a former collegiate baseball pitcher who recovered from shoulder surgery to conclude his career and also forge him on a path to becoming a Physical Therapist.  Joe resides in DeWitt with his wife and two sons.     

Kristen Dunne, MPT

Title:  Physical Therapist

School and Year of Graduation:

Saint Ambrose University, Masters of Physical Therapy. 

Began with Genesis: 2009

Specialization/Certification:  Kristen specializes in general orthopedics, post-surgical rehab, and sports medicine rehabilitation.

Community/Recreational Activities:  Kristen is very active in the DeWitt community, including coaching her children's sports teams.  She is originally from DeWitt, graduating from Central High School before continuing her education at St. Ambrose University.  Kristen resides in DeWitt with her husband and two children. 

Laurie Harrison, MPT

Laurie Harrison, MPTTitle: Physical Therapist

School and Year of Graduation:

University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences 1993, Masters of Physical Therapy.

Began with Genesis: 1994

Specialization/Certification: Laurie has experience in treating as a generalist with a special interest in geriatrics. She is certified as an APTA Clinical Instructor. She has experience treating in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, and also in long-term care. She enjoys treating neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses.

Danielle Jessee, DPT

Specialization/Certification: Danielle specializes in the treatment of general orthopedics and neurological conditions.  She is also experienced in vestibular and balance disorders along with TMJ pain.

Community/Recreational Activities: Danielle is originally from Chicago, and currently she lives in Davenport. As a student at St. Ambrose University she studied Physical Therapy and was a member of the SAU tennis team. In her free time, Danielle enjoys playing tennis, running, and lifting weights.

Brent Yotty, PTA, ATC

Title: Physical Therapy Assistant and Athletic Trainer

School and Year of Graduation:

Coe College, Athletic Training

Hawkeye Community College, Physical Therapy Assitant Program

Began with Genesis: 2012

Specialization/Certification: Brent serves as Athletic Trainer to Central High School in DeWitt.  In addition, Brent provides Physical Therapy treatments in the outpatient clinic as a PT Assistant.  

Community/Recreational Activities: Brent is originally from Kolona, Iowa and currently lives in Eldridge with his wife and son.  In his free time, he enjoys working out, and spending time with his family.

School and Year of Graduation:

College of St. Catherine 1990, OT

Began with Genesis: 2003

Specialization/Certification: Laurie has experience in Cardiac, ICU, Pulmonary, Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units. Laurie provides services for inpatients, outpatients, and residents of West Wing Place in DeWitt.  She is experienced with a variety of diagnoses and is trained in Bioness H200 neuromuscular re-education.

Brenda Johnson, OTR/L

Title: Occupational Therapist

School and Year of Graduation:

College of St. Catherine 1998, OT

Began with Genesis: 2000

Specialization/Certification: Brenda works with orthopedic and neurological patients. In addition, she is trained in Bioness H200 for the upper extremity. Brenda is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and frequently works in the LIFT program at the Bettendorf Rehab clinic.

Community/Recreational Activities: Brenda began with Genesis in March of 2000, and works in a variety of Genesis outpatient locations including Bettendorf, Davenport, DeWitt, and Eldridge.

Title: Speech Therapist

School and Year of Graduation:

Augustana College 1988, B.A.;

Western Michigan University 1989, SLP

Began with Genesis: 1989

Specialization/Certification: Mike is experienced in a wide-range of diagnoses including: aphasia, swallowing, communication, as well as voice and memory.   

Community/Recreational Activities: Mike is very involved with his son's athletic teams as well as coaching.  He resides in Moline.
