This support group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
The Genesis Stroke Support Group brings together stroke survivors and their families in an atmosphere of caring and sharing to assist recovery. Education about life after a stroke, including helpful hints and coping skills are included.
From time to time, due to circumstances beyond our control the meeting may need to be cancelled. Please watch local TV stations for those cancellations or contact Alicia Owens, Coordinator of the Stroke Prevention and Recovery Center at Genesis Outpatient Rehabilitation at 563-421-3460.
The Stroke Support Group and Aphasia Support Group is a service of Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa. Affiliation is maintained with the American Stroke Association, A Division of American Heart Association and The National Aphasia Association.
