Joseph T. Standard, MD
Accepting new patients.
I am passionate about being a Family Medicine physician because we get to develop relationships with our patients, we help coach people's health, and we are advocates for patients to get the proper care they need.
I believe in treating patients the way I would want my family to be treated, with both compassionate and competent care. My grandfather was a OB/GYN in my hometown of Springfield, IL, and hearing stories of how he helped people in the community through being a highly skilled physician interested me in medicine.

Areas Of Interest
As I studied nutrition in graduate school before medical school, I have an interest in how diet and lifestyle can play such an important role in our overall health and wellness. Additionally, I enjoy the puzzle of medicine in figuring out what steps need to be done to help our patients get better.
I enjoy spending time with my family and wife, watch movies and documentaries, play and watch basketball and soccer, running, being a part of my local church.
