Cardiac Arrhythmia

Common Symptoms of Arrhythmia include:

  • It can be very brief, just a skipped beat that is hardly felt
  • It may feel like a fluttering in the neck or chest
  • Shortness of breath
  • Palpitations
  • Chest Pain
  • Faintness and fainting

When long and severe, arrhythmia can cause you to feel weak, dizzy and light headed because the heart is not able to pump enough blood to the body. You may pass out. It can result in death.

Tachycardia reduces the hearts ability to pump blood. This can cause shortness of breath, chest pain, light-headedness or loss of consciousness. If severe, it can also cause heart attack or death.
