Jon Robken, M.D.
Dr. Robken was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He received his B.S. from the University of Iowa and his medical degree from the University of Iowa Medical School. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
He joined Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. in 1982 and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Illinois. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and Trinity Medical Centers.
His professional affiliations include fellowships in the American College of Cardiology, the Council on Clinical Cardiology of the American Heart Association, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Angiology. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Iowa Medical Society, the Scott County Medical Society, and the Scott County Heart Association. He is on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association.
Dr. Robken specializes in interventional coronary and peripheral procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and its related endoluminal procedures including rotational ablation coronary and peripheral atherectomy, transluminal extraction catheter coronary and peripheral atherectomy, directional coronary and peripheral atherectomy, coronary and peripheral stent deployment, percutaneous aortic and mitral valvuloplasty, and endoluminal Angio-Jet embolectomy.
