Heart Care Quality

The Genesis Heart Institute measures quality of care by how safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient and equitable our care is. Monitoring the results of many diverse quality measures ensures we are providing excellent patient care and meeting the high quality standards our patient’s require. The results tracked at the heart institute include mortality, procedure success and survival rates, complication rates, patient satisfaction, and compliance with evidence-based processes. We continually collect and analyze data, monitor results and compare them to national benchmarks. The comparison of our results to national benchmarks drives performance improvement efforts that continue to make the Genesis Heart Institute a recognized leader for cardiovascular care.

National Benchmarks

The Genesis Heart Institute is proud to participate in a number of patient data registries, where data is collected and our results are benchmarked with national standards.
