Free Low Dose CT Scans
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States.
LDCT screening is recommended for people ages 55-74 who smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for 30 years (or the equivalent, such as two packs a day for 15 years).
Anyone interested in assessing their risk for lung cancer, may take the Genesis online survey.
High risk patients should speak to their physician about a lung cancer low dose CT screening. Results of the screen will be shared with the referring doctor. As always, Genesis professionals will be available to discuss and provide follow-up information and support.
DineWell is an initiative aiming to change the way people eat their food. Launched in 2014, DineWell is based in the idea that knowledge is power. Genesis dieticians came together to create a cody of healthy eating, thus establishing a criteria through which individuals can make sensible food choices. This code also acts as a benchmark for local restuarants, encouraging them to adapt their menus to meet consumer needs.
