REGISTRAR(#867)

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: FT 1.0
WORKING HOURS: 7:30a-4:30p/ 8:30a-5p
WORKING DAYS: Monday-Friday Rotating Weekends
PURPOSE: Responsible for coordinating all patient pre-registration activities including, phone access patients/family, processing complete, accurate patient registration in an efficient and courteous manner, obtaining patient demographics and insurance information, and will be there initial point of contact for patients schedules to be into JCRHC. Will be responsible for collecting all necessary documentation and co-payments and deposits as well as interfacing with the patients and their families to discusspayment options. Will also assist in the verification of insurance and reviewing payment alternative and making referrals to the Business Office as needed. Will ensure all activities achieve high patient satisfaction levels and support successful biling activities, while supporting the standards and philosophies of JCRHC. Additional responsibility will be assisting with accepting payments, requirements duties, and other duties as assigned.

 

MED TECH/MED LAB TECH (#836)

All licensed nursing positions will be expected to function in various areas of patient care needs. Positions will be assigned specific departments for administrative purposes but employee skills may be utilized in more than one department. All RN positions will require graduation from an accredited school of nursing and Iowa licensure/eligibility.
