Jackson County Health Foundation Golf Outing
The 26th Annual Jackson County Health Foundation Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, June 10th, 2011 with a 2:00 pm shotgun start at the Bellevue Golf Club. For those who have participated in the past, we thank you, for those who are new, we welcome you.
This year our goal is to raise $25,000 to be used toward the new ambulance services for the community. JCRHC is the first facility in the state of Iowa to establish a hospital based ambulance service. In the past 36 years, this has expanded to become a 24 hour, 7 day a week paramedic service which covers 270 square miles and with approximately 1250 calls a year. As many may know, governmental reimbursement for this service does not cover the costs we incur. Therefore, we continuously look for additional funding to cover our expenses. We want to continue to provide the top notch service that encompasses city and rural areas, which includes providing assistance to other volunteer units requiring a higher level of care. Help us continue to provide this level of expertise for the Jackson County residents. The ambulance is a service that we want to make sure is 100% ready, equipped and staffed when needed—let’s ensure it is 100%ready, equipped and staffed when YOU might need it!
