You play a vital role in your health care. My Genesis offers easy access to your medical information and tools that will make it easier to share in decisions about your health. Stay informed by viewing your up-to-date medical records, including test results.
How do I sign up?
You can enroll in My Genesis while visiting Genesis for an appointment or a hospital stay or you can request access to My Genesis online. Speak with your provider or a member of your care team to start the enrollment process. Please allow up to ten days in order to process your request.

You can reset your password on the login page. Click forgot password and follow the instructions.
What about my privacy?
Your privacy is a top priority! This is a secure site, where you will need to put in your username, password and security question to view, store and share your health information.
Is there a difference between “Hospital Health Record” and “Doctor’s Office Health Record”?
Yes, records for any hospital stays or tests you receive in a hospital setting are kept separately from your record with your Genesis Health Group provider. If you wish to access both records, you will need to request an invitation for both.
How do I navigate between “Hospital Health Record” and “Doctor’s Office Health Record”?
Once you have accepted your invitations for both, you can easily toggle back and forth by clicking on the icons “Hospital Health Record” and “Doctor’s Office Health Record” found in the top navigation bar. We recommend using the same username and password for both records.

How do I set up someone else up in my family?
Parents/legal guardians of children under 12 years of age can seek proxy access to their child's account. Access will be automatically revoked when that child turns 12 years old in compliance with privacy regulations. To gain proxy access to your child's account age 0 - 11, please complete a Proxy Access Form.
We realize that parents/caregivers of children and adults with disabilities or other long-term chronic illness will need access to this person's medical record. To gain proxy access to your incapacitated child, please complete a Proxy Access Form.
Why can't I view my teenagers health record?
Because we encourage our teenage patients to take an active interest in their health, patients 12 years of age and older can create their own My Genesis account. When a patient is approximately 12 years of age, many providers start having conversations with adolescents regarding private health care needs. To insure confidentiality of these conversations and comply with state laws, parents are not allowed to have access.
If your child is unable to make medical decisions on their own due to medical conditions or illness, you may be granted access to manage their health record.
Why is Cerner IQHealth referenced?
Cerner is the vendor we work with to securely manage your electronic medical record information. My Genesis is a customized Cerner system which provides you with the capabilities to interact with the medical record system.
