Genesis Presents Latest Advances In Diabetes Treatment
If you or a loved one has diabetes, then don't miss this informative program on the latest advances in diabetes treatment: insulin pumps, alternate site testing and future glucose monitoring ideas. Sponsored by the Genesis Diabetes Care Center, the program will be held from 6:30 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, at Jumer's Castle Lodge, Bettendorf.
The program will feature product demonstrations of the latest insulin pumps that are taking diabetes maintenance by storm. It's the Paradigm and 508 pumps by Medtronic MiniMed Technologies. These devices are expected to change the current standards for diabetes management because they are waterproof and run on one AAA alkaline battery. Representatives from Medtronic MiniMed Technologies will have the pumps and be on hand to discuss the advantages of this new device.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, please call the Genesis Diabetes Care Center at 563-421-1061 or 800-765-1061.
