Why: The Award of Hope recognizes key people in the community who have played a significant role in supporting women with breast cancer.

Angela Keesy, Director of Women's Health at the Rock Island County Health Department is the winner of this year's award. She has worked on behalf of women's health issues for more than 12 years.
