Help With Prescription Costs
The increasing burden of drug costs is a major problem for many Quad City area seniors. Life threatening choices are made daily because many seniors simply can't afford their prescription drugs.
Genesis Medical Center along with several human health services agencies and pharmaceutical companies will come together to discuss the prescription drug assistance options for those who are Medicare eligible.
"Helping With Prescription Costs," is Monday, November 4, from 9 a.m. - noon, at the Adler Health Education Center, lower level of the Genesis Heart Institute, 1236 E. Rusholme Street, Davenport. The event is free of charge and open to all area residents who are Medicare eligible.
The following state and federal agencies and pharmaceutical companies will be in attendance: Iowa Department of Human Services, Veterans Administration, Merck Patient Assistance, Lilly Answers, Illinois Circuit Breaker Senior Care, Community Health Care, Pfizer Share Card, Glaxco Smith Kline Orange Card and Together RX.
