The 16,030-square-foot Family Room offers a unique and comforting environment for families experiencing a birth.

Cost of the expansion and renovation is $6 million.

Completion is expected in late summer.

• All private, larger patient rooms.
• 16 LDRP rooms (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum)
• Expanded nursery with Level II Special Care nursery
• 4-bed outpatient testing area
• Surgical suite (should the need for a Cesarean delivery arise)
• Enhanced infant security system
• Hydrotherapy Jacuzzi tubs and showers
• Quiet room (for parents to spend private time with their special newborn before being discharged)
• Point of care documentation to enable on-line access by nursing staff and physicians
• Nursing care by professionals who been cross trained to ensure you and your family a continuity of care.
