GMC DeWitt Hosts Health And Safety Fair

DeWitt, IA – Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt will host its semi-annual Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The event features fun and interactive exhibits for the entire family. Events include make-and-take first aid kits, ambulance tours, fun exercise options, diabetes education and healthy snacks, eye screenings for cataracts and vision tests for children 4 to 44 months provided by the Lion’s Club. There will also be a moon walk for kids.

There will also be bone density screenings available from the radiology staff with questions on bone density answered by Catherine DeLuca, MD and information about sleep disorders.

Ricki Raccoon, the new mascot of Rick’s House of Hope, will be introduced to the public for the first time.

The Health and Safety Fair will be held inside GMC, DeWitt, 1108 11th Ave, DeWitt rain or shine.
