Genesis Wellness Center Challenges Kids With Summer Classes

Davenport, IA – The Genesis Wellness Center will be hosting classes for kids combining fitness and fun this summer.

The F.B.I. (Food and Body Interaction) Challenge is for children ages 7-14. There will be class sessions June 6-10, June 20-24 and August 8-12 at the Genesis Wellness Center, located in the Bettendorf YMCA.

The spy-themed, high energy week will feature interactive adventure games, which involve problem solving, communication and cooperation skills. The kids will role play as detectives to carry out a mystery combined with a scavenger hunt. Time will also be spent exercising in the Genesis Wellness Center gym and making healthy snacks with a registered dietician.

Class sessions each day will be 9 am - noon. The cost will be $55 per child, or $50 per child for multiple children from the same family.
