Genesis Presents HealthTalk Radio Show

From bariatric surgery, to medical aesthetics, to wellness and the latest medical procedure available in the Quad Cities, the HealthTalk radio program sponsored by Genesis Health System covers important health care topics.

HealthTalk airs on WOC Talk Radio 1420 on Saturdays at 8:05 a.m. Ken Croken, Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing, Genesis Health System, hosts the wide-ranging, one-hour talk show.

Croken said HealthTalk is an informative, entertaining weekly glance at health care topics with important input and questions from listeners. “We want to talk about whatever is in the news in health care and whatever is important to listeners,’’ Croken said. “We also want to talk about what is going on at Genesis Health System, the preferred provider of health care in the region.

“In the last few months, Genesis has introduced laparoscopic gastric bypass to the Quad Cities and the first artificial disk replacement done in the Quad Cities was done at Genesis.

“Genesis Health System is a health care system that offers the latest medical science and provides the latest procedures available to the Quad Cities. There is more exciting news from Genesis on the horizon and we’ll be able to explore those announcements and how they will benefit everyone who lives in the region.’’

HealthTalk features in-studio guests, telephone interviews and calls from listeners. Dr. William Langley, Medical Director, Genesis Health Group, is in the studio on a weekly basis to answer health-related questions from listeners.
