Genesis VNA Will Give Mallards Players A Shot In The ArmQuad City Mallards

Davenport, IA – The Quad City Mallards hockey team will try to prevent losing players to the flu this winter by lining up at the Nov. 16 Genesis VNA flu shot clinic.

Mallards players, coaches and office staff will be in attendance at the Hy-Vee, 2900 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf, throughout the afternoon to sign autographs and talk with fans.  Flu shots will be available from 1-6 p.m.

There will be a drawing every hour for a set of four tickets for a Mallards game this season.

“We want to invite everyone to join the Mallards in this proactive step to stay healthy this winter.  It will also be a good way to spend a few minutes meeting the new Mallards players,’’ said Ken Croken, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Marketing, Genesis Health System.

Cost for flu immunizations through Genesis VNA is $25. Pneumonia immunizations will also be available for $30. Credit cards are not accepted.

Medicare recipients with Part B coverage should bring their Medicare card to the clinic. VNA will file the claims for those covered by Medicare Part B.

Genesis VNA has not experienced any disruption or delays in vaccine shipments this fall.
