Genesis Hosts Occupational  Health Conference

Davenport, IA – Genesis Occupational Health, Great River Human Resource Association and LabOne will be the sponsors of a conference exploring workplace issues on Tuesday, April 12. The conference will be held at the Adler Educational Center in the Genesis Heart Institute.

The conference is for human resource professionals, safety professionals, business owners, nurse case managers, industrial hygienists, occupational health physicians, loss control specialists and social workers.

The conference will explore workers’ compensation, drug screening, Family Medical Leave Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and how they impact area businesses.

Speakers will be M. Anne McAtee, attorney with Hopkins & Huebner, Davenport, and Stacey L. Hawke, attorney with Lane & Waterman, Davenport.
 
Registration is $50, or $40 by March 25th. The conference program will begin at 7 a.m. and conclude at 11:30 a.m.
