FirstMed Clinics To Be Renamed Genesis Convenient Care

Davenport, IA – FirstMed Clinics in the Iowa Quad Cities will be renamed Genesis Convenient Care to better identify the urgent care services available at the clinics.

The clinics are located at 1520 W. 53rd St., Davenport, and 4017 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf.  The clinic at 2350 41st Street, Moline, was renamed Genesis Convenient Care last year.
 
“We believe this new name is more consumer-oriented and better identifies the services available,’’ said Ken Croken, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Marketing, Genesis Health System. “Each location will continue to function as they do presently and no organizational change is associated with the rebranding.’’

The change will not affect the FirstMed Pharmacy organization.

Genesis Convenient Care clinics are open seven days a week for patients seeking immediate treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
