BureauCats Dance Will Benefit Genesis NICU

Davenport, IA – The BureauCats, a rock and roll band made up of musicians who work in government, will perform a benefit event for the Genesis Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on Jan. 13.

The Bureaucats will be playing from 8-11 p.m. at the Starlite Ballroom at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport.

Tickets are $5 at the door. Children 10 and under are free. There will be a cash bar.

A discussion at a “pointy-headed bureaucrat” meeting attended by Scott County, Iowa government employees Dave Donovan and Kurt Ullrich in 2003 was the basis for the formation of the BureauCats. The 'Cats now number 10 strong and enjoy success as "The Best In Governmental Rock and Roll."  As a premier party band, the popular 'Cats cover some of the best dance music ever written.
