Genesis VNA and Hospice Makes Smooth Transition To New Location

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Genesis Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice staff is planning to complete relocation this week after being forced out of its previous location by flash flooding.

The new location of Genesis VNA and Hospice is Genesis Medical Park, 2535 Maplecrest Road, Bettendorf. Approximately 350 Genesis VNA and Hospice employees are being relocated.

The telephone numbers remain the same. The main number is 563-421-5500.  For hospice, the number is 563-421-5400. For referrals, the number is 563-421-5200.

“The transition is taking place very smoothly thanks to the wonderful work and cooperation of our Genesis VNA and Hospice staff and the quick reaction of Genesis Health System to our unfortunate circumstances,’’ said Keith Kertland, Executive Director, Genesis Home Health Services. “To be able to undertake a major relocation in a short amount of time without any disruption of services to our patients says a lot about the cooperation we have had from everyone involved.’’

Genesis VNA and Hospice operations were moved from the previous location at 1225 E. River Drive because of flooding following a March 12 storm.
