Genesis HealthQuest Film Series presents
Three Coins in the Fountain
DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Genesis HealthQuest Film Series will present the 1954 Academy Award-winning film Three Coins in the Fountain on Thursday, May 22 at the Adler Theatre in downtown Davenport.
Starring Clifton Webb and Dorothy McGuire, Three Coins in the Fountain follows three American roommates working in Italy and looking for love. The film will be shown in its original format.
Screenings are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The 2 p.m. matinee is reserved for adults 60 and older and is free of charge. The 6 p.m. showing is open to anyone who enjoys classic cinema. A suggested donation of $1 will be requested for the 6 p.m. showing. Donations will benefit the Genesis Senior Compassion Fund to help meet the charity health care needs of area seniors. Concessions will be available to purchase.
Genesis will provide health-related information 30 minutes before the 2 p.m. film.
A free shuttle is available for seniors. In Iowa: Center for Active Seniors (CASI) parking lot, 1035 W. Kimberly Rd., in Davenport. In Illinois: HyVee parking lot, 2001 5th St., in Silvis. Both shuttles will arrive at the pick-up locations at 12:45 p.m. and depart at 1:15 p.m. They will return to CASI and HyVee no later than 4:30 p.m.
