Crow Valley Surgery Center Achieves Reaccreditation
Crow Valley Surgery Center has achieved reaccreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC ).
The Crow Valley Surgery Center is Medicare certified and is a joint venture of Genesis Health System and ORA Orthopedics (ORA). It is a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center with two operating suites and post-operative and recovery areas.
The surgery center opened in 2007 and is located in the ORA Orthopedics building at 2300 53rd Ave., Suite 200, Bettendorf.
Status as an accredited organization means Crow Valley Surgery Center has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care. Accreditation is for the most part voluntary, and demands that the center and its staff meet important industry standards, as well as a commitment to patient safety.
Ambulatory health care organizations seeking accreditation by the AAAHC undergo an extensive on-site, peer-based survey of its facilities and services. Crow Valley Surgery Center was awarded the maximum accreditation period of three years.
“When you see our certificate of accreditation, you will know that AAAHC, an independent, not-for-profit organization, has closely examined our facility and procedures.” said Michael Pyevich, M.D., Medical Director of the surgery center. “We are committed to providing a convenient, patient centered experience while offering the highest level of care possible.”
Crow Valley Surgery Center allows ORA to provide a comprehensive range of services at one site. The ORA office building is designed to offer patients assessment and diagnosis, pain management services, surgery, post-surgical care and rehabilitation.
ORA Orthopedics has been serving Quad Cities patients for more than 40 years. It is the largest and most comprehensive orthopedic surgical practice in the Quad Cities with more than 100,000 patient visits each year at offices in Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline, Silvis, Durant, Dewitt and Geneseo.
