Rabbi Henry Karp and Gail Karp Give to Foundation's Camp Scholarship Fund for Children with Disabilities

In lieu of gifts for them, they've designating the Genesis Foundation's Camp Scholarship Fund for Children with Disabilities. Gail served on the committee to distribute these funds for many years.

The Genesis Foundation's Camp Scholarship Fund for Children with Disabilities supports children to attend specialized programs that allow them to become more independent during their growth and development.

Through generous donations throughout the year, the Genesis Foundation is able to sponsor scholarships for these children to attend enrichment programs.

Scholarship recipients will be able to attend various camps that create a positive camp experience for children with disabilities while also educating them on how to live with their specific disability.

Parents and children are appreciative of the program, allowing the kids to have a memorable summer camp experience.

“The morning when we picked her up from camp, it brought tears to my eyes to see her with new friends and flourishing in an environment where everyone was dealing with the same thing,” said the parent of a former camper.

Genesis Foundation is dedicated to the care of those in need. The Foundation provides charitable funds for programs to increase health and wellness to residents of the greater Quad Cities.
