Genesis Medical Center, Davenport provides comprehensive behavioral health services at its West Central Park campus location in Davenport. The programs available accept most insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Voluntary or involuntary referrals can be made 24-hours a day.

Genesis uses a team approach to serving those in need of consultation and inpatient psychiatric care including the following:

Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Services

These adult inpatient services are for acute psychiatric and behavioral issues. The program features all private rooms with a recreation room and fenced patio for adults. There are 20 open beds and 17 locked beds. Psycho-education groups and consultations are also available.

Children & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Services (ages 5-18)

This inpatient program is the first of its kind in the Quad Cities. It features a specialized 7-bed locked unit dedicated to children and adolescents. The unit has all private rooms and a fenced playground for children. On-site classroom instruction from certified teachers is also provided.

Every patient experiences individualized therapy in a highly structured environment with intensive programming seven days a week. Professional services provide expertise in diagnosis and pharmacotherapy if needed. The team of behavioral caregivers works with private practitioners to successfully integrate children back into their family settings.

MARC (Multiple Addictions Recovery Center)

The MARC program includes thorough evaluation and assessment, detoxification services, inpatient or outpatient programs, education, continuing care and outreach to help those with chronic and progressive addiction to drugs and alcohol. Individual and group therapy sessions are tailored to the needs of each patient.

Fourteen private rooms are available for inpatients at the center and the outpatient program features 12, 8 and 4-hour day or evening options.
