Why Am I Taking It?
To prevent or treat nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy treatments.
What Side Effects May Occur?
May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or stuffy nose. Less frequent effects include blurred vision, dry mouth, nose or throat, feeling faint, sensitivity to the sun, decreased sweating, and increase in appetite. Notify your doctor if you develop a sore throat, shortness of breath, flushing or redness of the face or muscle spasms. Notify your doctor if this medication makes you restless.
How Do I Take This Medication?
May be taken with food or milk to lessen stomach irritation.
What If I Miss A Dose?
If dose is one per day, take the missed dose if you remember that day. If not remembered until the next day, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. If your dose is more than one per day, take the missed dose if it is within an hour. If you remember later, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. In each case do not "double-up" the doses.
Are There Any Precautions I Should Take?
Use extreme caution performing tasks that require alertness. Use sugarless candy or gum for relief of dry mouth.
Storage
Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
