Constant Readiness

Constant readiness is the first rule for Emergency Services at Genesis. The medical center provides complete emergency services on both campuses, providing care for major and minor illness and injuries. These areas also coordinate Genesis' response to community-wide disasters and direct pre-hospital care through emergency radio systems.

Genesis Medical Center has successfully completed the verification process to become a certified Level II Regional Trauma Care Facility. A 24-hour on-call trauma team and specialized trauma room are available in the emergency department on the East campus.

Open 24-hours a day, Emergency Services is staffed by board-certified or board-eligible physicians and registered nurses.
