Orthopaedics
Quality Care
Comprised of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and unit assistants, the Orthopaedics nursing staff cares for patients with musculoskeletal problems. The scope of patients includes total joint replacements, tendon and ligament repairs, and traumatic injuries. Working on restorative and rehabilitative care and education, Orthopaedics collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive individualized, quality care. They also help facilitate patient discharges from the acute care setting to home and assist family members/support persons in finding rehabilitative equipment for the patient.
