Patient Stories

Occupational therapist, Erica Jansen, works well with my two year old son on a weekly basis. She is always very energetic and makes OT very fun for him. Erica is a great resource for us and I would recommend her to anyone needing OT services. It is very apparent that Erica wants to help kids and that she enjoys her job!

-Julie

We were referred to Genesis Pediatric Therapy Center in Bettendorf to get our daughter, Mila, born with the gift of Down's Syndrome, the extra help she needed.

We worked with Erica Jansen, OT, Katie Powers, PT and Katie Kennedy, Speech.  All the therapists gently welcomed Mila to the center and got started right away with an assessment and game plan.  Watching them work with my daughter warmed by heart to see they were so gentle and caring with her as we are.

With their help, she has gained many new skills, milestones and independence.  She continues to grow in every way.

Genesis Pediatric Therapy Center didn't just provide Mila with a PT, OT and Speech Therapist, but, each of her team members had also helped us learn more about our daughter's condition.  They provided us with tools, resources and ideas for our daughter to grow, thrive and be successful.  At Genesis Pediatric Therapy Center, we have great therapists, but at the same time have made wonderful friends.
