Power Sports Performance Staff
Matt Rokes, PT, DPT, ATC/L, CSCS
Matt is a strength and conditioning coach and a physical therapist with a focus in sports medicine. Currently, Matt is Coordinator of Power Sports Performance. He has experience working with athletes of all ages ranging from junior high students to Olympic athletes. He presently works with the senior national teams in domestic and international competitions for USA Rugby.
Ben Devaney, MS, ATC, CSCS, NASM-CES, NASM-PES
Ben is a Certified Athletic Trainer as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the NSCA. In addition, Ben achieved his Sportsmetrics Certification. Currently Ben works for Genesis as an Athletic Trainer in the Central Clinton DeWitt School District, and he is involved with Power Sports Performance working with athletes and adults. Ben earned his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently working to obtain his master's degree.
Brandon Tyrrell, ATC
Brandon Tyrrell is a Certified Athletic Trainer with the NATABOC (Board of Certification). Brandon attained his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training, and a Minor in Psychology from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, in 2005. He has acquired certifications in functional training methods from the Titlest Performance Institute (Medical Professional Level 3, and Junior Professional Level 2, and has worked with golfers, among other athletes, to develop the strength, stability and flexibility needed to perform the needs of their specific sport.
Lori Anderson MS, ATC/L, CSCS
Lori received her CSCS certification through the NSCA in 2011 and her Sportsmetrics certification through the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Center. She started training clients ranging from ages 8-16 in Sportsmetrics, promoting proper landing mechanics and reducing the likelihood of future ACL injuries. Lori has also continued to work closely with the Augustana College Women’s Lacrosse program, training the team in Sportsmetrics as well as off-season strength and conditioning.
