We offer convenient hours from 7:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M., with additional hours arranged as needed.

Services:
An extensive line of services are offered at the LeClaire location. Commonly treated ailments include:
orthopedic conditions/ injuries

- post surgical cases
- vertigo
Outpatient therapy is available for patients who have moderate to severe physical limitations and who can travel to receive care. To meet our goal Genesis Physical Rehabilitation at LeClaire provides our patients with the most up-to-date therapeutic services and help the patient return to either their prior level of functioning or to increase their level of functioning.

Staff
Chris Hunter, PT, MPT, OCS
Title: Physical Therapist and Supervisor
Education: Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in 1998 and his MPT from St. Ambrose University in 2001.
Began at Genesis: 2007
Specialization/Certification: Chris is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, from the American Bored of Physical Therapy Specialties. In his current position Chris has the opportunity to treat a variety of patients utilizing an evidence-based approach. Chris specializes in treating clients with orthopaedic problems, sports injuries, and post surgical cases. He has had great success in treating all areas of the spine utilizing the most recent outcome measures to ensure optimal evidence-based care. Along with orthopaedic clients, Chris has a strong interest in treating clients with vestibular problems and associated balance difficulties.
Community/Recreational Activities: Chris is currently pursuing his clinical Doctorate in physical therapy. He enjoys watching Hawkeye sports and helping coach his children's soccer and basketball teams.
Abby Skrivseth, PT, DPT
Title: Physical Therapist
Education: Abby received her MPT from Clarke College in 2004. In addition, she obtained her DPT in 2007 from Clarke College.
Began at Genesis: 2009
Specialization/Certification: Abby has been practicing physical therapy in an Outpatient Orthopedics and Sports Medicine setting since 2004. After joining Genesis in 2009, Abby expanded her patient population to include generalized orthopedics and geriatrics. Abby has a particular interest in post-operative shoulders and knees due to her past working experiences in the sports medicine setting.
Community/Recreational Activities: Abby enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Abby is active within the LeClaire community. She also enjoys boating in the summer as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
