Radiology Services

Our Radiology Departments at Genesis Medical Center Davenport, DeWitt, and Illini provide high-tech testing by an experienced staff.  Services including general x-ray imaging, mammography, computerized tomography (CT) scans, ultrasound, bone density, fluoroscopy, and echocardiography (EKG) services.  Our state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging reduces exam times and patient wait times, which improves patient care and satisfaction.  All radiologic technologists at Genesis are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, (ARRT).

The Genesis Imaging Center is an outpatient extension of the Genesis Medical Center and is fully accredited by the JACHO.  The Genesis Imaging Center offers state of the art imaging services in a peaceful, easily accessible, outpatient setting.  Convenient parking, easy facility access, minimal registration time, and minimal wait time are just some of the other great features offered at our facility.  The next time your physician orders a radiological exam, schedule it with us, at the Genesis Imaging Center in Bettendorf.

With a few clicks at the computer, a doctor treating a trauma patient at Genesis Medical Center’s Illini Campus can now send digital images of a CT scan to a neurologist at a Genesis hospital in Davenport. The new Picture Archiving and Communication System, or PACS, eliminates the need for transporting and storing images.  The PACS system is also available at Genesis Medical Center’s two campuses in Davenport; the Genesis Imaging Center in Bettendorf; and to the DeWitt campus.  The entire health system is tied together onto one system to ultimately bring more efficient patient care.
