Rick's House of Hope

Rick’s House of Hope Needs You

Rick’s House of Hope depends on your gifts to care for our community’s children and youth.  Annual gifts sustain our programs and allow us to offer most services free of charge.  Our vision is to continue to care for grieving children for many generations to come.  You can contribute to Rick’s House of Hope in 10, 20 or even 100 years from today by endowing your annual gift.

Here’s an example of how this works:  Mary had given Rick’s House of Hope $500 every year for several years.  She realized Rick’s House of Hope depends on her generous gift and wondered how we’ll fare after she is no longer alive or able to support our programs.  So, Mary spoke to her attorney about adding a codicil to her will, providing a $10,000 bequest to our Annual Giving Endowment Fund.  The initial endowment gift will be $500 (assuming a 5% return), and income will grow as the endowment appreciates over time.  Mary is pleased because she knows the money from an endowment fund will be available each year for our annual program needs-just as though she were mailing a check herself.

If you would like to learn more about endowing your annual gift, please contact Missy Gowey, Genesis Health Services Foundation at 563-421-6865.  Thank you for your generous support today and for considering a legacy gift to Rick’s House of Hope to help us meet future needs.
