Meet Our Director
Denise Tatoian was named the new Program Director of Rick’s House of Hope in May of 2007. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with children and families.
Her personal focus has always been and continues to be to support the needs of children. The past 25 years she was an elementary and middle school teacher and principal. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from the University of Northern Iowa. She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the Western Illinois University.
Her goal is to provide compassionate spiritual care continuing the life work that was done by Reverend Richard (Rick) Johnson and Rick’s House of Hope’s Founding Director Rev. Robyn Plocher.
She is a life-long resident of the Quad Cities and looks forward to helping children in the Quad City Region for years to come.
