Clinical Pastoral Education
Genesis Medical Center (Genesis) is a member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc., (ACPE), a multi-cultural, multi-faith organization devoted to providing education and improving the quality of ministry and pastoral care offered by spiritual care givers of all faiths through the clinical education methods of Clinical Pastoral Education.
The Genesis Clinical Pastoral Education program is accredited by ACPE to offer this form of education. The intensive summer unit and the expanded fall and winter units implement the ACPE mission through the practice of pastoral care to patients, families and staff, under the guidance of a qualified supervisor using the action-reflection educational model. This model is grounded in a person-centered approach to religious ministry.

Cost:
- $25.00 non-refundable application fee for Genesis Medical Center CPE program. (Send payment payable to "Genesis Medical Center" with application)
- $850.00 per unit - when clinical hours are fulfilled within Genesis Medical Center
- $1,450 per unit - when clinical hours are fulfilled outside of Genesis Medical Center
