When immediate health care is needed, Genesis Health System provides both out-of-hospital clinics and in-hospital emergency services.
For minor illnesses and injuries, out of hospital and non-emergency room facilities for urgent care are located in Davenport, Bettendorf, Iowa and Moline, Illinois. The Genesis Convenient Care Clinics are open seven days a week in Bettendorf, Davenport and Moline to serve people with minor injuries and illnesses that do not require long-term follow-up or care, as well as diagnostic and screening services including basic lab and x-rays.
For those in need of immediate care for major injuries and illnesses, Genesis Health System has several emergency and trauma care facilities. These urgent care centers are located at each of the hospitals including Genesis Medical Center East Rusholme Street and West Central Park campuses in Davenport, Illini Campus in Silvis and Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt.
Genesis Medical Centers in Davenport feature a Certified Level II Regional Trauma Care Facility at each campus including a 24-hour on-call trauma team. These two sites are also responsible for community-wide disaster response and pre-hospital care. Genesis Medical Center East Rusholme Street contains an exclusive Chest Pain Observation program, which allows people experiencing chest pain to undergo diagnostic and screening tests without being admitted to the hospital. Illini Campus in Silvis also features a Certified Level II Trauma Center for emergency care services. Both Genesis Medical Center East Rusholme Street and Illini Campus have a Pediatric Emergency care program that is designed to deal with children in need of immediate emergency and trauma care.
