LIFT | Living Independently For Tomorrow

LIFT Program

The LIFT (Learning Independence For Tomorrow) program is a CARF-accredited day treatment program focused on rehabilitation for adults after neurological injuries, such as stroke or traumatic brain injury. Our program is multi-disciplinary, meaning it is staffed with a comprehensive team from occupational therapy, speech therapy, and therapeutic recreation who are brain injury specialists and who are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and service. We also work very closely with physical therapists and a social worker all of whom are in the same location. Our physical therapists provide free screenings for each patient who is referred to the program. Our program uses a collaborative, interdisciplinary team approach in order to provide the best possible care. LIFT works with individuals who are trying to re-gain their independence after an injury, many of whom have goals to return to work, driving, school, and/or leisure activities. The LIFT team’s goal is to return you or your loved one as fully as possible to the activities, passions, roles, and talents that define you as an individual. Each injury is different, meaning each individual’s treatment plan is tailored to achieve their goals of restoring function and returning to important life activities.

We are the only program of this kind in the greater Quad City area, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to those in our region. What makes us unique from other outpatient services in this area is that our sole focus is on neurological-related rehabilitation. We utilize the most up-to-date evidence-based treatment options.
