Vice President, Human Resources, Genesis Health System
Areas of Responsibility: Leading, developing and implementing the health system's human resource programs, including recruitment, staff development, compensation and benefit structures, wellness programs, recognition and reward programs and compliance with the corporate HR policies and procedures.
Bio: Kahly-McMahon began her career at Genesis in 2001 as a human resources manager for the organization's home health, physician practice, Psychology Associates and employee assistance program (EAP) entities. She was named Assistant Vice President of Human Resources in 2006 and Vice President of Human Resources in 2009. Prior to joining Genesis, Kahly-McMahon was director of human resources for Sterling Rock Falls Clinic, one of the largest physician groups in northwest Illinois.
She is a graduate of Western Illinois University and holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Ambrose University. She serves on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley and the Wellness Council of Iowa. Other professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Association of Professional Women. Kahly-McMahon and her husband, Jim, reside in Sterling, Ill. They have two children at home.
