The best part of being a therapist is helping my clients achieve their goals, sharing their successes, and motivating them through the tough times. I enjoy becoming acquainted with my clients and their families.
I became interested in Occupational Therapy at 11 years old when I observed my grandparent's with their stroke rehabilitation. My goal as an Occupational Therapist is to promote health, well-being, and independence with activities in life. It is important to listen, respect, and involve my clients in their health care decisions as we work toward healing.
Cherie enjoys treating cumulative trauma, surgical repairs of the elbow, wrist and hand, burns, chronic pain, stroke, spinal cord, and traumatic brain injuries.
I enjoy spending time with My husband and two daughters. I also like to read, walk, bike, cook, garden and volunteer for my children's activities.
