Dr. Nidal Harb was born and raised in Jerusalem. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees in Leningrad. In 1998, Dr. Harb went to Jerusalem and worked as a volunteer consultant to the Ministry of Health. He played a major role modernizing cardiac care in the country. Further, Dr. Harb has been involved in research and participated in numerous international clinical trials. He presented scientific papers at national and international meetings.
He is licensed in Iowa and Illinois.

Dr. Harb practiced as a consulting cardiologist with Medical Associates in Clinton, Iowa. He has held various positions including President of Medical Staff, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Director of the Catheterization Laboratory, member of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and Mercy Health Network.
Currently, Dr. Harb is the Chief Executive Medical Director of Genesis Heart Institute and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa. He also serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Genesis Health System.
