While in Medical School, Dr. Sharis was a member of the 1992 United States Olympic Rowing team and made the finals in 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. He was a member of Air Force ROTC. As a student in college and medical school, he received numerous awards for rowing and was involved in competitive cycling. He continues to enjoy these hobbies, as well as golf. Dr. Sharis is married with two daughters and a son.
He is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits.
