In my twenty years in the nursing profession, I have had the honor of caring for people of all ages, from a variety of backgrounds, each with their own unique story. I believe that all people have a right to safe and compassionate health care and it’s my mission to help them receive it. My goal is to get to know my patients and provide individualized, evidence-based, holistic care.
I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I have chosen to work as an advanced practice nurse in palliative care because I want to partner with my patients and help them truly understand their medical condition and all of their options. I want to help provide relief from the pain, symptoms, mental and physical stress that often accompany life-limiting and chronic illness, and help my patients experience the best possible quality of life.
